About the project
Designed as an international food haven rich in colour, texture, nature and ambient lighting, the conservatory level all-day dining is an energetic space where the vibrant outdoors are brought indoors. The incredible views of Chongqing are maximized by means of window seating.
Replicating casual outdoor street style eating, food trucks and kiosks are peppered in the center of the space. Depending on the season and requirement, the kiosks and trucks can be closed off by means of garage style windows. Designed as part of the façade, the kiosks will be adorned with blackboard menus and planters so they read the same language as the interior when not in use.
Tables are scattered throughout a canopy of live trees, adorned with strings of lights, and timber trellis pagodas reminiscent of an Italian piazza. A dedicated kids zone provides a playful quirky space with a miniature food truck and ice-cream cart. This is sure to be the best family day out in the city.
A mezzanine level is designed as a private dining area for functions.
