AVANI HOTEL

This new development in Sabah, Malaysia is a mixed-use high end residential, retail and Hotel property in downtown Kota Kinabalu, due to open in 2023. The hotel comprises 370 guestroom keys, reception lobby and lobby café/bar, an All-Day Dining restaurant, Specialty Chinese Teahouse and restaurant, a collaborative work and lounge space, meetings and events floor with Gym, and a spectacular Sky bar and infinity edge pool.

Three of the public area floors are interconnected with a meandering, split level grand staircase, reminiscent of the ascending staircase to Mount Kinabalu, with overhanging pods and spectacular views out over the surrounding landscape.

The hotel is conceived with a strong narrative, inspired by the contemporary architecture, and the islands landmarks and local culture.
