Set within Hong Kong’s Happy Valley racecourse, The Chalk is an exclusive private members restaurant on level 7 with elevated views of the racecourse below.
With less emphasis on the racing, and more on the sheer romance of the sport itself, the ambience is soft and intimate, with a subtle Armani-esque chic.
With an exclusive silver service, guests enjoy an exquisite chefs seven course menu with the opportunity for sneak peeks at the action between courses. They are greeted at a small intimate cocktail bar to enjoy an aperatif before dinner.
Enomatic wine dispensers serve wine by the glass at the perfect temperature.
Guests can choose to sit A La carte along the window, or in semi-circular booths, or within a selection of private and semi-private rooms.
The kitchen is in full view allowing the guests to watch the masters at work for a full evening of entertainment. Rich colours of caramel are complimented with light oak floors, and dark wood and shagreen panels.
