Karen Hay
Founder & Creative Director
Karen Hay is the Founder and Creative Director of IN-dulge, With 28 years of solid design experience Karen leads IN-dulge with a cutting-edge focus on luxury Interiors for Hospitality, working with many of the world’s leading hospitality and leisure hotels and resorts.
Recognized for her successful, and award-winning projects Karen is regularly invited as a guest speaker at industry conferences. She has also been both a recipient and judge of the AHEAD Asia-Pacific Awards.
Harnessing her Scottish heritage, international experience, entrepreneurial spark and keen sense of sustainability she possesses not only her wealth of knowledge in her profession, but also her connections with all top-tier designers, suppliers, developers and hotel operators. She has been the eyes and hands of her clients, representing them and overseeing the projects, coordinating closely with countless consultants from various specialty design fields and disciplines, across the globe to achieve a common goal – successful, sustainable and award-winning design which focuses on bringing the best guest experience possible.
As a business owner, she understands what it takes to run a profitable business, guide and drive a team, ensure the highest level of design quality, and deliver projects on time and within budget. She has proven time and time again to be an excellent project leader who delivers results that consistently exceed expectations.
Sally Chan
Senior Interior Designer
Sally has a decade of working experience in the field of interior design, mainly focusing on projects such as hotels, bars and restaurants, clubhouses, show homes,, sales office, and residential development. She joined the INdulge team 4 years ago after working with the Moty Design Ltd. where she gained valuable knowledge and training, and combined with her young, energetic creative flair, and tri-linguistic skills she is a strong asset to the design team.
Sally now leads projects covering both the concept development and technical production.
Jose Olivares
Consultant Architect
A native of Colombia, Jose has more than 20 years of Hospitality experience. As Principal of Olivares Design, who share the CoLab studio space with INdulge, he regularly advises INdulge and acts as Technical Director on several large scale projects.
He has worked on many projects across the Asia Pacific region including St. Regis Hotels in Chengdu & Sanya, InterContinental Hotels in Fuzhou & Deep Pit, Shangri‐La Hotels in Haikou & Xian, Sheraton Hotels in Bangalore, Incheon & Changsha, Hilton Hotels in Wutai & Chennai, MGM‐Cotai Mansions, Galaxy‐Diamond Lobby, Suncity‐Hoi An Hotel‐F&B outlets, and Vladivostok‐Tigre de Crystal Casino In the Middle‐East he worked on Ritz‐Carlton Doha, Jumeirah Beach Residence Dubai and Faisaliah Tower‐ Saudi Arabia.
Jose received his degree in Architecture from Universidad de Los Andes in Bogota, Colombia, and his Interior Design & AutoCAD Education from Rhode Island School of Design, Providence Rhode Island, USA. He is a LEED Green Associate. He is also an Associate Member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), lectured at the Project Directors Forum 2006 in Dubai and was a panelist at Hi Design Asia 2011.
Boga Wong
Senior Interior Designer
Boga is qualified in, and started her career in Automotive Engineering then switched to Interior Design. This background gives her an acute eye for detail and form. With 8 years of working experience in the field of interior design, mainly focusing on projects such as hotels, restaurant, retail, developer residential projects (show house, clubhouse, sales office, and lobby). She is responsible for material selection, FF&E schedule, tender and construction package production, coordinating with clients, consultants and contractors.
Jane Tait
Graphic Designer & Brand Consultant
With 15 years experience in Visual Communication, Print and Media, Branding, Graphics, Website and Product design. Jane works with us on developing the many brands that we create; designing logos, collaterals, menu designs, packaging design, signage design and brand manuals.
Jane also created our own website, marketing press releases and several blogs. She has a very broad outlook and understanding of international markets, mixed with a hugely creative eye and talent.
Jane shares our collective passion for projects that focus on the greater good, sustainability, green and social issues, with a view to making a difference.
