Karen Hay

Founder & Creative Director

With 25 years of solid design experience in the design industry, covering UK, Asia and the Middle East, Karen was formerly the co-founder and Director of Stickman Tribe Ltd, a Dubai and Hong Kong based design firm. Staying in Hong Kong she established her own design clan IN-dulge with a cutting edge focus on high-end Interiors for Hospitality. 

Having originally trained in Interior Design at Napier University in Edinburgh, Scotland, primarily because it delivered courses that combine creativity with technical skill. Harnessing her entrepreneurial spark and keen sense of sustainability she later complimented this with a Post Graduate in Administration & Information Management. 

She then spent a few years working in a reparatory theatre designing, building and painting sets. Today, she remains hands on and her theatrical story-telling flair certainly shines through her projects. 

Recognized for her successful, and award winning projects Karen is regularly invited as a guest speaker at conferences throughout Asia. Karen now leads the IN-dulge team to continued success with more of the world’s leading hospitality and leisure hotels and resorts. 

Gavin Au

Design Manager

Gavin is our Design Manager, having had nearly two decades of experience he started his career as a Trainee Draftsman in 1994 at an engineering firm and a year later took up his first design position as Assistant Designer at Studio 88 in Hong Kong where he worked for four years. Throughout his career Gavin held a number of Interior Designer and CAD positions at leading design firms in the country, working on a large variety of hospitality and leisure projects. Prior to joining IN-dulge, Gavin worked as an Interior Designer for John Chan Design where he was responsible for Space Planning, Design Development, Detail Design and Material Selection for a number of hotel and restaurant projects in Hong Kong and China. Gavin is highly proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp and a number of other design programs, and has an amazing knowledge and understanding of detail. He is fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin.

Kivina Leung

Senior Interior Designer

Having graduated in 2009 from the University of South Australia in Interior Architecture, Kivina has been working in the industry in Hong Kong for the past ten years. Over the past five years with INdulge, she has been responsible for conceptual design, detail design, project coordination and FF&E, focusing on mainly hospitality and F&B projects. Kivina has worked on many prestigious projects during her career including Shangri-La hotels in Singapore, the Philippines, Hong Kong and Istanbul, Cordis Hotel Hong Kong, Galaxy Macau, Lei Garden Group Restaurants as well the Fairmont Chengdu & InterContinental Chongqing, and is  now running our Conrad, Shenyang project. Fluent in Cantonese, English and advance in Mandarin, Kivina is a professional and talented interior designer with a great passion for what she does. 

Sally Chan

Interior Designer

Sally has 5 years of working experience in the field of interior design, mainly focusing on projects such as show house, clubhouse, sales office, and residential development.

She joined the INdulge team after working with the Moty Design Ltd. where she gained valuable knowledge and training, and combined with her young, energetic creative flair, and tri-linguistic skills she is a strong support to the design team.

Jane Tait

Graphic Designer

With 15 years experience in Visual Communication, Print and Media, Branding, Graphics, Website and Product design. Jane works with us on developing the many brands that we create; designing logos, collaterals, menu designs, packaging design, signage design and brand manuals.

Jane also created our own website, marketing press releases and several blogs. She has a very broad outlook and understanding of international markets, mixed with a hugely creative eye and talent.

Jane shares our collective passion for projects that focus on the greater good, sustainability, green and social issues, with a view to making a difference.
